According to the Urban Dictionary a douchebag is defined as follows: “Someone who has surpassed the levels of jerk and asshole, however not yet reached fucker or motherfucker. Not to be confuzed with douche.” For reference douche is “a word to describe an individual who has shown themself to be very brainless in one way or another, thus comparing them to the cleansing product for vaginas”
We think douchebag probably originated as an insult in the Northeastern Guido culture as many of the original terms seem to be relevant to the New Jersey/B&T crowd….remember the Gotti brothers reality show? Or more recently, think Jersey Shore.
• Overly gelled hair which not even a tornado could move
• Frequent visits to the tanning salon resulting in orange complexion
• Baseball cap backwards, or even worse, to the side
• Shirts, polo or otherwise with popped collars
We, however, are based in South Florida. And while most of South Florida is regarded as an extension of the Northeast and full of those types of douchebags, we also have our own variety.
• Sunglasses in the club
• Venezuelan mullet or otherwise semi greasy looking man hair swept away from the face in a 80s style that would have been more appropriate when Crocket and Tubbs were running around Biscayne Blvd.
• Fake boobs, fake lips, we’ve even seen tattooed white eyeliner (Colombian thing we’re told)
• You immigrated with your nanny (so this person has no escape/life outside of your home)
• Insisting on wearing all white everywhere you go…this denounces “tourist” douchebag.
The list goes on and on and even though the average douche make look slightly different in each area, they usually have a few characteristics in common, mostly loving to call attention to themselves!
We feel, and it seems to be of public opinion that there are several levels of douchebaggery. For fun we have provided you with a few nomination options to accurately categorize your douche.
Douchenozzle, for instance, is great for when someone has gone above and beyond to be just a little more douche than a douchebag. Again, referencing Urban Dictionary, douchenozzzle can be defined as follows: “someone who is slightly more annoying than your average "joe douchebag" and has need for a more insulting insult, because the nozzle of the douche actually goes into the skanky, nasty pussy, so therefore calling someone a douchenozzle is way worse!”
Lastly, we have the Douchelord or king of douches. We all probably know at least one person that fits in this category. He/she is “1.Person/s that demonstrates all the qualities of being a douche so well, they could in fact be a deity among douches. 2.The lord and messiah of all douches.
